It was early October when our PopStar Influencer’s Poppin’ @ 1 Anniversary party venue partner, KMC, shared how they got inspired by our event and decided to throw their very own to end the year. It was flattering \ to receive this kind of feedback and to top it off, they requested us to be one of their event partners.
Hello, it's Reese! And last Dec. 5 I shared a bit about how to tell your story on IG. 🙂
Being an Influencer Marketing platform means we have our own unique pool of influencers that are interested in collaborating with brands that fit their personal profile. Our main role is to build the bridge for \ our influencers and brands. In line with KMC’s partnership proposal, they requested for us to bring our PopStars to their year-ender celebration. The theme is about how KMC’s workspaces can be adaptive on this \ generation's digital savvy by having a variety of themed co-working space that can be aesthetically pleasing. Check out how they created mini sample themed areas at the event: Miami Beach, Rock n’ roll and Greenery.
Receiving this news was nostalgic. It was like we were planning another anniversary event, minus the whole planning part. We needed to provide the best of the best to come to KMC and celebrate the lifestyle of being \ this generation of influencers. And what could the best be? The ones who we’re willing to be there of course! The original date of the event was really for November but got suddenly moved to December. Therefore, \ unexpected changes have also been made. My team was too occupied, not to mention we were already venturing the end of the BER months. Campaigns and proposals have been coming from everywhere! Shout out to our \ amazing Business Development team. We were at the edge of deciding to push through with our partnership or not. Realizations took place, it was just really about balancing the efforts you give and the worth of \ you think you can get in return. The most important part was deciding to just risk and see the results.
Even with a minimal budget and a tight schedule, we were able to come up with ideas that were excitingly possible. First, the invites. Gist is, let’s invite the ones who actually want to be there. It was amazing how \ Instagram can hype an event up. Probably also because of PopStar being known to throw an awesome party... But basically after a few days, around 70 people signed up to attend out of the 25 PopStars that we are required \ to bring along. The number of people who wanted to party with us was clearly overwhelming!
One way to make the partnership memorable was giving away these awesome PopStar Merchandise stickers especially made by our Design Team! Surprisingly, the other influencers who came to the event have \ been begging us to give out more. No worries! We are sure to bring more for the next parties!
Different faces from different places were all over the room. Not to mention it was exciting to share the same stage with Fitfam siblings Jose Villablanca and Joan Villablanca who taught us how to \ have a flexible lifestyle in this digital era. Same goes with Raffy Casas of GetCraft that shared the importance of building your personal brand as an influencer.
Since the year is just really about to end, it was the night that needed to end and what a better way to end it than by spending it with the ones that matter the most. Our PopStars! It was indeed a night full of learning, laughter, drinks and new friendships!
Cheers to shining as bright as the year!
