Superstar Awardees of 2021
If YOYO sings to praise every member’s hard work, then we will lose our voice pretty quickly. Win sessions every Thursday, Most Valuable Award in each quarter and the annual Employee Recognition Award which we named as the Superstar Awards.
Though work from home is still a challenge (and doesn’t seem to be ended in the near future 😔), Last year was no exception that we are giving the highest appreciation to the most performing members of our company.
Let’s give it up to the Superstar Awardees of 2021 – Wisnu, Niña, Bima and Jamie!
Wisnu – Superstar Member (Indonesia office)
Joining Pop Digital as a Graphic Design intern in September 2018, he made a smooth transition to successfully becoming a regular employee right after graduation from his bachelor’s degree.
Known best for his ability to be a “lone ranger’, he proves that he is capable of working independently with minimum supervision while being a great team player at the same time. As the only designer in the ID office, he never ran out of creativity and was always supportive by completing every design request (which mostly came with an “urgent” label) on time.

Wisnu – Sr. Graphic Designer
Niña – Superstar Member (Philippines office)
Showing a great OPO & HRT in every project resulting in great output and on time delivery, perhaps some of her remarkable achievements throughout 2021 are creating Bakulio the mobile app for both Android and iOS, and creating the Bakulio seller’s web catalog.
As a Senior Software Engineer, she respects team communication and ensures alignment of both the problems and the solutions.
“Not only in development, communication is very important especially when you are working with different people. It also helps with clarifying/ confirming information with your tasks”
Niña – Sr. Software Engineer
Bima – Superstar Manager (Indonesia office)
As a senior SME Business Growth Manager, he made a breakthrough for Bakulio since the first week of joining the team. Given the nickname “the negotiator”, he always finds ways to create strategies for seller acquisition.
He lead by example of how one should always be optimistic and no matter what, never bring negativity to the team and this means a lot in building a positive, supportive and motivating working environment

Bima – Sr. SME Business & Growth Manager
He is proof that as long as you went the extra mile, recognition can be given to anyone, even if you have not celebrated your first working anniversary!
Jamie – Superstar Manager (Philippines Office)
Receiving perfect scores of client satisfaction from all eight (8) clients and successfully up-sell a client’s budget by $3.2K++ are proof of her great OPO & HRT in managing both the campaigns and the clients.
As the Head of Account Group, she never stops surprising us with her ability to accept and conquer all the challenges given to her, including going the extra mile to act as a BD to create new leads.
One of the many things that we can learn from her is to implement plan-do-check-action (PDCA) to ensure high quality standards of work and to improve productivity within internal and external parties.

Jamie – Head of Account Group
YOYO Superstar Awards is presented annually and the recipients of the awardees are entitled for cash reward and other benefits. The judgement criteria included but not limited to;
- Demonstration of company core value
- Quality and attitude towards work
- Excellence in performance
- Great peer-to-peer communication & association
- Personal accomplishments
- Leadership qualities (for managers)
- Milestones crossed
To sum up, there are actually around 30 “sessions” in YOYO each year to celebrate wins and to give appreciation to our members. Is that considered a lot? or is it enough? and should we wait until those sessions to give appreciation to others?
Truth is, employee recognition knows no calendar.
So don’t hesitate to appreciate others often, for recognizing each others is one of the simple and basic act of showing OPO & HRT.
